Leicestershire County Council has made funds available to all 25 Community Forums in the county.
The Wigston Community Forum will have £12,500 available per year for local communities to invest in local improvements of their choice.
We are looking for projects that can be delivered between January and the end of June 2012.
How can local communities get involved?
If you have a bright idea on how £12,500 can improve your local area, you can put forward a project proposal via our website. Please submit your proposals by 11th November. For more information, please click here.
From 14th November you can check our website to view & comment on submitted Project Proposals and make suggestions on how the projects could be further improved or developed.
You can vote for your favourite project by attending the Wigston Community Forum Budget Workshop, scheduled for 28th November (6.30-9pm, venue tbc), where you can also hear from all projects and discuss some projects in more detail.
PLEASE NOTE: Workshop spaces are limited and booking is essential. Registration opens on 9th November and will be on a first come, first served basis. You can register via www.leicestershireforums.org/cfb.html or by calling 0116 3057034.
