Voting for projects at the South Charnwood (Syston, Thurmaston and Wreake Villages) Area Forum Budget Workshop on 28th November 2011 has now happened. Results are now available and can be found on the Meetings page of the Website.

Welcome to the homepage of South Charnwood (Syston, Thurmaston & Wreake Villages) Area Forum. Area Forums (known as Community Forums in other parts of Leicestershire) are a new way of making sure that the services you receive meet the needs locally. Area Forum membership includes Parish, District and County Councillors, local voluntary sector representatives and members of the public.

Area Forums will be held 2-4 times per year and will provide you with an opportunity to raise questions and hear about the services you receive and any changes coming up that will affect the local area.

Please use the links at the side of this page for more information about your forum. In the ‘About’ section you can find out more about what an Area Forum is (and is not).

To find out more about when and where your Forum will be happening and the issues that are being discussed, visit the ‘meetings’ section, where you will find all details about past, present and future Forums, including Agenda's and minutes.

In the 'issues' section you will be able to keep up to date on the items raised within the Forum and progress made in responding to them.
