| Description: | Ian Scarrott, Deputy Chief Fire and Rescue Officer reported to the Forum on the recent review of services conducted by the Fire Service. Part of the review had taken into account the location of stations and whether they were most effectively placed. The Shepshed station was identified as a possible closure due largely to the proximity of the Loughborough station. The Area Forum is strongly opposed to the possibility of closure. |

| Recommendations: | A report on the findings of the Review of the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service review will be available at the end of June, and made available to the Forum members. The Forum will also be alerted to further consultation opportunities. |
