The report below from Leicestershire County Council's Development Control and Regulatory Board was approved as follows:
Decision:
That the Cabinet be recommended to forward the key comments as set out in paragraphs 19 to 36 of the report and the more detailed responses as set out in Appendix 2 to the report to the DCLG as the views of the County Council, subject to amendment to include reference to -
• Right to Build Orders and requirements for sustainable needs assessments.
• Clarification of SUDS responsibilities.
• Reference to Market Towns as rural centres/hubs.
• Emphasis on the need for rural broadband under reference to communications infrastructure.
