The Leicestershire County and Rutland Primary Care Trust are holding a public consultation from 16 June until 5 October 2008 on the future of community health services.
The review covers the future for community hospitals walk-in centres and GP services in Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Co-operative Group will be holding a series of public exhibitions for people to find out more about the eco-town development. The exhibitions are designed to provide everyone with an opportunity to see more detail on the proposals and to help them to make an informed judgement.
Dates and venues are as follows:
Tuesday 10 June, The Three Swans, High Street, Market Harborough
Wednesday 11 June, Parklands Leisure Centre, Wigston Road, Oadby
Friday 13 June and Saturday 14 June, Exhibition Marquee (being set up on the "Christmas Party site"), off Gartree Road
Monday 16 June, Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, Aylestone Road, Leicester
The exhibitions will be taking place from 11.00am to 8.00pm.

Leicestershire County Council will hold two public meetings, which will be hosted by the Leader of the County Council, David Parsons, and local MPs David Garnier and Alan Duncan.

There will be a residents meeting dedicated to the Eco Town proposal taking place at the Cedar Suite, Parklands Leisure Centre, Wigston Road, Oadby, Leicester.
The purpose of this meeting will be to publicise the consultation and give you an opportunity to ask questions that you want the Council to get the Government and the Co-op to answer.
There will be no representatives at this meeting from either the Government or Co-op.
Numbers attending will have to be limited for safety reasons.
