We welcome your suggestions for topics for discussion, but please note we cannot guarantee their inclusion on the agenda. In some cases it may be that we include your topic at a further meeting or deal with it outside of the Forum meeting. We will contact you to feedback any action that has been taken. Please use the form below to let us have your suggestion for discussion topics or question(s) you want to raise during the ‘Question Time’ slot.

Details for the next Melton West Community Forum are as follows:-
Date: Tuesday 28 February 2012
Time: 7-9pm, Information and networking from 6.30pm
Venue: Frisby Village Hall, 19 Water Lane, Frisby-on-the-Wreake, Melton Mowbray LE14 2NP.
Topics to include:
- Update from groups funded through the Community Forum Budget
- Broadband
- 2012 Olympics
- Improving recycling at home
and many more items of local interest

Recent Meetings
Leicestershire County Council has made funds available to all 25 Community Forums in the county.
The Melton West Community Forum Budget Workshop took place on 21 November, where local communities had the opportunity to help decide how to spend £10k in local improvements of their choice.
All 9 projects were discussed and residents took voted for their favourite projects. Provisionally, we are able to fund 7 of the 9 exciting projects. You can view the results by clicking on the 'results' link below.

On Thursday 13 October 2011, between 4pm and 6pm, there will be the Big Society Roadshow for the Melton area at Sage Cross Methodist Church, Sage Cross Street, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1RB.
This event will support the principle of ‘Helping to develop the Big Society in your local Community', providing information on Leicestershire County Council's Community Forum Budgets, the Big Society Grant Fund and other relevant funding information. We hope to encourage community members and community groups to come along to the event in their District, to find out more about what is being done to support the development of the Big Society in Leicestershire.
