Recent Meetings
The last meeting of the Loughborough East Area Forum took place on Wednesday 25th January 2012 at Rendell Primary School, Rendell Street, Loughborough.
Nominations were sought for the role of Chair and Vice -Chair. Andy Neville has been re-elected as Chair and Carol Kirk has been re-elected as Vice - Chair, both for the next two years.
There was an interactive discussion on regeneration in Loughborough East as well as updates on the projects that were successful in gaining funding from the recent Community Forum budget process. There was also an item on some of the key events that are scheduled to take place in Loughborough in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.
The Minutes will be added to the Website when they become available. The Agenda can be found by clicking on the title link, together with the previous Minutes and an explanation of the roles of the Chair and Vice - Chair.
Please note that it is hoped there will be a further opportunity for voluntary and community groups to gain funding from the Community Forum Budget. We are hoping to run this on the evening of Thursday 31st May 2012, so please note this date in your diaries and please advise potential applicants of this opportunity. However, this is subject to approval within the Leicestershire County Council Budget for 2012 - 2013.

The Loughborough East forum had £12,500 available this year for its local communities to invest in local improvements of their choice. A similar amount will be made available next year.
