The 13th Blaby North Community Forum was scheduled for Monday 12th September.

The following items were proposed for the next agenda:
* Green Spaces - Results of the consultation exercise and how these can be used in the future.

* Planning Matters - An opportunity to speak with Blaby District Council officers about the second phase of consultation on the planning application for a housing development at Lubbesthorpe.

* Community Forum Refresh Panel - An update on progress/action taken over recent months.

* 2009 Participatory Budgeting Update - A regular slot to review progress on projects that received funding from the Blaby North PB Workshop. This time, a report on the project to train minibus drivers and the difference it has made for community groups.

* Community Forum Budgets 2011 - An overview of the workshops which will take place later in 2011 - find out how you can be involved in spending £15,000 in the area.

* Blaby Together Resident Survey - Feedback from the survey which took place earlier this year.

* Traveller Sites in Blaby North - Find out about the roles/responsibilities of the Local Authorities, Police, and local residents.

The last Blaby North Community Forum was held at the Kirby Muxloe Primary School, Barwell Road, Kirby Muxloe, LE9 2AA.

Local residents had the opportunity to hear updates about issues raised at previous Community Forums and helped to spend £20,000 in their area.

Recently, the local residents and community groups of Blaby North helped propose how £20,000 could be spent in their area.

The fifth Blaby North Community Forum was held in the Parish Rooms, Leicester Forest East Parish Council.
