A focus on Community Centres and facilities. A one off special event took place in Blaby for local management representatives that are responsible for community buildings, local facilities or village centres.

Across the district of Blaby, management representatives of local community centres, facilities and buildings were invited to join an interactive, information sharing and networking event, which took place on Thursday 30th September, at the Blaby Social Centre.

This event bought together local community facility managers and service providers such as Voluntary Action LeicesterShire, Leicestershire County Council and Community Action Blaby District making sure local community buildings made the most of the support and opportunities available to them. Also local funders had their say how they can give their support. With workshops running throughout the evening led on to networking with other local management committees facing similar issues, see what is happening locally and hear about local successes.
